摘要
Measurements of the initial magnetic susceptibility of CeAl2 have been made at a hydrostatic pressure of 8 kbar and compared with the ambient pressure behavior. Finite pressure has the effect of both reducing the magnetic moment and lowering the Néel temperature. Both effects are understood within a simple moment-reduction model which borrows from the single-impurity Kondo problem. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
