摘要
The quantity of calcium hydroxide in set Portland cement has been estimated by differential thermal analysis as 15.8 ± 0.2%, by thermogravimetry as 15.3 ± 0.05%, by X-Ray diffraction as 12.0 ± 0.9%, by glycol extraction as 19.9 ± 0.3% and by alcohol glycerol extraction as 12.7%. The difference between the amounts obtained by thermal methods and X-Ray diffraction is attributed to the presence of about 2.7% of amorphous calcium hydroxide in the sample of set Portland cement. © 1979.
