摘要
Rapidely solidified copper powders were consolidated by shock waves produced from the impact of high velocity flyers. 2D axisymetrical numerical simulation have been performed in order to optimize the set-up. The influence of the geometry of the flyer and of its shape was studied. It's shown that it is possible to modify the shape of the shock-front and to diminish the rarefaction wave amplitude. The influence of anvil material on the maximum pressure amplitude is studied. Metallographic observations as well as X-ray-tomography experiments and tensile tests have been performed on consolidated sample. These experiments have permit to validate numerical simulations.
