摘要
Effect of 2:3:5 Triphenyl-tetrazolium chloride (TTC), a known electron acceptor, which has been reported to uncouple oxidative phosphorylation was studied on acetycholine and histamine-induced contraction of the isolated guineapig ilium. TTC was found to antagonize responses of acetylcholine and histamine on this tissue. Although, higher doses of TTC produced a noncompetitive blockade of the agonists, there was, however, a definitive shift of the dose response curves to the right at relatively lower doses of TTC. © 1969.
