摘要
The metabolic degradation of 14C kinetin (Kin) and 14C benzyladenine (BA) was investigated in vivo in protonema of the moss, Funaria hygrometrica. The most prominent catabolic product of Kin was adenine (Ade); adenosine (Ado) and hypoxanthine (Hypo) were found in lesser concentrations and kinetin riboside (KiR) was a transient intermediate. After feeding with BA the main product was Ade while the levels of Ade and Hypo were less. The concentration of free hormones reaches a maximum after 1.5h; after 30 h free Kin completely disappeared. The BA concentration remained constant at a low level for a long time. © 1990, Gustav Fischer Verlag, Stuttgart. All rights reserved.
