摘要
The formation of R.E.5Tl3 phases, where R.E. = rare earths and yttrium, by direct reaction between the elements, and their crystal structures have been investigated by micrographical and X-ray methods. For the phases formed by La, Ce, Pr, Nd and Sm, the W5Si3 structure type has been found, while for those of Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu and Y the structure is of the hexagonal MN5Si3 type. For Eu and Yb no phases with this composition could be obtained. © 1969.
