摘要
The nature and density of defects introduced by torsional fatigue at −195°C in Al 99·995% are investigated by resistivity measurements. Results show that during the initial stage of fatigue both point defects and dislocations are generated in Al in the same proportion as observed during cold-work. Some features of the recovery spectrum after fatiguing indicate that defect production occurs in localized regions. © 1969 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
