摘要
A rotating immobilized-enzyme reactor and a static Pt-ring electrode have been designed In a sealed cell for use under continuous-flow/stopped-flow operation. The operating characteristics of the integrated bioreactor/detector unit have been studied for determination of glucose using immobilized glucose oxidase [EC 1. 1.3.41 and amperometric monitoring of the H2O2 produced. Determinations are based on the rate of response under stopped-flow conditions. The trend in values of the apparent Michaelis-Menten constant confirms the validity of the approach to sensitive determinations utilizing very small amounts of biocatalysts.
