摘要
The theory and model of Harris and Hears! has been extended to approximately include the effect of hydrodynamic interaction and excluded volume. The results agree in both the coil and rigid-rod limits with existing theories and experiment. The absence of a linear dependence of [ij] upon an appropriate power of the molecular weight introduces some doubt as to the validity of conventional methods of interpretation of viscosity data.
