摘要
A new equation to describe the weakly unstable region of a uniform fluidized bed is derived from a two-fluid model by applying the reductive perturbation method. The behavior of the solution of our equation near the transition point from stable fluidized beds to unstable ones is soliton-like with small dissipations. The validity of our equation is confirmed from the direct simulation of the two-fluid model.
