摘要
A double-tuned radiofrequency circuit which permits simultaneous heteronuclear decoupling at two frequencies is described. It is suitable for attachment to continuous-wave or pulsed NMR probes containing a single coil separate from the observe and lock coil(s). A detailed description of double tuning and matching is given. Experiments are described in which 14N and 59Co are simultaneously decoupled while observing protons at 60 MHz in cobalt(III) complexes. Proton resonances are obtained which are sufficiently narrow to reveal spin-spin coupling between inequivalent NH2 protons, a coupling normally obscured by electric quadrupole broadening from 14N and 59Co. © 1979.
