摘要
The transient temperature field in a nuclear fuel rod consisting of fuel cylindrical pellets surrounded by a metallic sheath is calculated. This is done by using a variational technique based on Lebon-Lambermont's variational principle. The thermal properties of the system are assumed to be temperature dependent, while the boundary conditions are given as functions of time. © 1979.
