A MESON EXCHANGE MODEL FOR THE K+N INTERACTION

摘要
A meson exchange model for the K+-nucleon interaction is presented, which is constructed along the same guidelines as those applied in the Bonn model for the NN interaction. Single vector-meson exchange provides the dominant features; however, higher-order diagrams involving N, Δ, K and K* intermediate states turn out to be essential for a good description of the empirical data. Furthermore, a quantitative description of the data seems to require an additional repulsive contribution of much smaller range than provided by ω-exchange. © 1990.
