摘要
A State stereotype questionnaire was administered to first year Psychology students in all 6 States. There was sufficient uniformity and inter‐state agreement in the ascription of adjectives to warrant the use of the term stereotype. The content of State and National stereotypes was compared to previously published views and good agreement was noted. Differences in the uniformity of stereotyping and of being stereotyped were shown to be significantly related to a State's weight or combined rank on area and population within Australia. 1969 Australian Psychological Society
