摘要：

From data gathered during disease monitoring surveys in the North Sea during 1989 and 1990, a previously undescribed lipoma of common dab (Limanda limanda) is reported. Single, and multifocal circular, yellow lesions on the ventral surface were indicative of this hypodermal lipoma which predominated in mature female dab. No positive correlation could be found between the lipoma and the practice of sewage sludge dumping or oil field activities. The etiology of this tumour is unknown.
