Infrared spectra of hydrogen bond a general theoretical model

摘要
For the IR spectra of the hydrogen bond a general theoretical model is presented which puts on equal footing the Fermi resonance and the coupling between the high and low frequency modes. The fundamental hamiltonian is derived and its spectral consequences studied in detail. The theoretical IR spectra of the hydrogen bond are obtained and the relative roles of both mechanisms are quantitatively studied and discussed.
