摘要
Electromagnetic effects of catastrophic processes are examples of physical phenomena in which the usual treatment of the Lorentz gauge gives incorrect results. The recently proposed new formulation of the Lorentz gauge leads to results identical to those of the Coulomb gauge. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
