摘要
The average number of prompt neutrons ν emitted per fission has been measured for the spontaneous fission of 340Pu and 242Pu relative to ν for the spontaneous fission of 252Cf. The measurements were performed with a large liquid scintillator and the values obtained were ν(240Pu) = 2·168 ± 0·009 and ν(242Pu) = 2·157 ± 0·009 relative to ν(252Cf) = 3·784 (assumed). © 1968.
