摘要
Axisymmetrical deformation of a circular bi-material humidity sensor is analyzed based on the small deflection of thin-plate theory. The humidity sensor considered herein is composed of two circular plates having different diameters bonded together concentrically. The governing differential equations are derived and the solution for such a plate mounted on a cylindrical shell is obtained. The effects of the diameter ratio and the flexural rigidity of the shell on the maximum deflection of the plate are studied. The maximum deflections computed for various diameter ratios are in good agreement with the experimental results. © 1969.
