摘要
The release behavior of hydrogen isotopes co-dissolved in niobium and titanium has been studied in the temperature range 400°C to 500°C using a quadrupole mass filter. The species in the thermally released gas have been found to be H2, HD and D2. The release behavior of each species has a plateau region, stationary state, in its early stage. The higher the temperature, the higher the plateau that was obtained. The concentration ratio of deuterium to hydrogen in the released gas has been found to vary linearly with that in niobium and titanium specimen, which is explained by a simple analysis under some assumptions. In addition, the hydrogen isotope concentration profiles in the depth of the specimen, which may affect their release behavior, have been also examined by ion microprobe analyzer. © 1979.
