Analytical solutions are presented for the transient heat transfer in forced convection flow over a curved wall when the Prandtl number is zero. The wall is subjected to either a variation in temperature or a variation in the heat flux. As an application, the solutions are computed for the case of wedge flows. The present analysis also should be applicable to a laminar boundary layer flow with a variable free stream velocity when the Prandtl number is slightly different from zero. © 1969.
