摘要
The letter deals with the stability and field configuration of the TM11 mode in a circular and elliptical waveguide. Some numerical results illustrate the variation of the position and value of the maximum electric field in the longitudinal direction as a function of the eccentricity of the cross-section. © 1969, The Institution of Electrical Engineers.
