PREDICTION OF RETENTION TIMES OF THE NUCLEOSIDES AND BASES ON REVERSE PHASE HIGH-PERFORMANCE LIQUID-CHROMATOGRAPHY DURING GRADIENT ELUTION

摘要
Through the use of relationships between in k' and composition of the mobile phase, it is possible to predict to within about 5% the retention times of the nucleosides and bases under gradient elution conditions. Through the use of equations, optimal separation of the compounds hypoxanthine, uridine, xanthine, and six other compounds was achieved using reverse phase (C18) columns. The equations predicted the gradient conditions needed to separate these compounds in minimum time with maximum resolution. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
