摘要
Least-squares methods are given for the estimation of Peclet number and mean flow-through time for dispersive flow processes. The techniques discussed are less sensitive to errors occurring in measurement of tracer concentration than are methods involving variance computation. The least-squares procedure may be carried out in either the time or the frequency domain, whichever is more convenient. Certain solutions of the dispersion model in both domains are summarized. © 1969.
