COLONIC VARICES - REPORT OF A CASE

Colonic varices, although rare, represent a little-appreciated cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. Because bleeding may be massive, and because surgical attention may be beneficial, awareness of this condition is important, particularly in cases of portal hypertension where colonic masses are discovered.
