摘要
This article has reviewed normative issues involved in conflict resolution in the context of three premises: (1) knowledge is unlimited but perceptions of knowledge create unwarranted outcomes; (2) practiced behaviors are self-rewarding, inducing power-oriented outcomes where parties have established those as patterns of behavior; and (3) power-oriented and problem-solving methods are alternate ways for solving a conflict. The means for establishing outcomes to conflict which are mutually beneficial are presently available and can be implemented through proper conflict management. © 1978, The Regents of the University of California.
