POLARIZATION FRACTIONS FOR THE 2(1)P, 3(1)P AND 3(1)D STATES OF HELIUM

摘要
The polarization fractions for the 21P, 31P and 31D states of helium, determined from a 10-channel semiclassical eikonal calculation, are compared with a recent first-order many-body theory calculation of Csanak et al. (1989), and with experiment. A number of interesting points on the importance of channel coupling effects on the polarization fractions for the 21P, 31P and 31D states of He are addressed. © 1990, IOP Publishing Ltd.
