摘要
In the presence of excessive amount of acetyl halide along with a catalytic amount of tin(II) halide, aromatic acetals react with allyltrimethylsilane or triethylsilane to give alpha-allylbenzyl halides or benzyl halides, respectively, in good to excellent yields.
