摘要
Up to three Cu1 ions and three catenane rings can be interlocked on the arms of the bicyclic central unit (shown schematically on the right); thus, the first multiring catenanes not based on macromonocycles, but on macrobicycles are formed. The synthesis of these supramolecular complexes uses the three‐dimensional template effect of the Cu1 ions. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1993 by VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Germany
