摘要：

The social morbidities of adolescents represent a unique challenge to health professionals. These conditions include biologic and psychosocial factors that adversely affect the adolescent's health, and often only the consequences are treated. Facilitating compliance to improve the health status of adolescents includes strategies not only to increase adherence to medical regimens, but also to promote preventative health care. This review provides an overview of selected morbidities and provides recommendations to facilitate adolescent wellness.
