RADIATIVE DECAYS OF OLD C-EVEN MESONS

Estimates of the radiative widths Γ(R → γγ) for IPC = 0++, 0-+, 2++ and Γ(0++ → ρ{variant}0γ) are presented. The results are used for analysis of MARK-II data on γγ → η′ → ρ{variant}γ. It is shown that the background from δ and S* production is small. The analysis of available data on Γ(0-+ → γγ) within the framework of SU(3) and VDM indicates the necessity for a larger value Γ(η → γγ) than the conventional one. A comparison of the data of Abrams et al. and Binnie et al. confirms Iη′ = 0. © 1979.
