REDUCTION OF THERMAL INTERFERENCE ON LASING WAVELENGTH FOR DFB LD/EA MODULATOR INTEGRATED LIGHT-SOURCE

摘要
Thermal interference on lasing wavelength for integrated light sources consisting of a DFB laser and an electroabsorption modulator was investigated. Lasing wavelength shift observed was strongly dependent on the heat generated in the modulator. The shifts could be suppressed within 0.04nm by reducing the modulation voltage. © 1990, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
