摘要
Investigation of the electromagnetic transitions in 25Mg has led to the determination of the following parameters: the branching ratios of the third to eighth excited states inclusive; the multipole mixing ratios of the 1.960 → 0, 1.960 → 0.975 and 3.400 → 1.614 MeV transitions; the spins and parities of the 1.614, 2.738 and 3.400 MeV levels and the lifetime of the 3.400 MeV level. The experimental results are compared with the corresponding results in the mirror nucleus 25Al, and experimental information is presented relating to the rules governing the strength of corresponding transitions in mirror nuclei. The experimental results are also compared with the predictions of the strong-coupling rotational model. © 1968.
