摘要
Previous research on human monitoring behavior showed a positive correlation between sampling frequency and signal bandwidth. However, in those experiments bandwidth was confounded with number of critical events. In the present study bandwidth and number of events were not correlated. It demonstrates that 1) bandwidth offers sufficient information to distinguish between signals, and 2) that sampling behavior is affected by actual signal positions.
