摘要：

Soil moisture regimes of reddish brown earths cropped with maize in the dry zone of Sri Lanka were characterised in the 1985/86 Maha (main) crop season by computer simulation with the SWATRE model, using limited measured data on water content, hydraulic conductivity, and precipitation, as well as rooting depths and crop leaf area. Simulated moisture profiles agreed well with experimental data.
