GENERAL INTEGRAL FORMULATION OF THE DIFFRACTION OF AN ELECTROMAGNETIC-WAVE BY AN INFINITELY CONDUCTING, BIAXIAL PERIODIC SURFACE

摘要
The Stratton–Chu formulae are used to establish integral representations of the scattered field and a system of two coupled integral equations for the tangential components of the induced superficial current density, plus another integral equation for the normal component of the electric field on the surface. The moment method for solving these equations is outlined and, on this basis, it is suggested that it might be necessary to search for another rigorous theoretical formulation that is simpler and more economical to exploit at the computational stage. © 1979 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
