CHARGED AND NEUTRAL SUPERSYMMETRIC HIGGS BOSON MASSES - COMPLETE ONE-LOOP ANALYSIS

A complete one-loop calculation of Higgs boson masses in the minimal supersymmetric standard model is carried out in the 't Hooft-Feynman gauge and with on-shell renormalization conditions. Both regions tan beta less than/greater than 1 are studied. Beyond the tree level this separation is gauge and renormalization scheme dependent, so both regions must be considered simultaneously. Our results agree to the accuracy O (5 GeV) with earlier studies, based on the effective potential approach. For tan beta < 1 corrections are particularly large and very sensitive to its actual value. Corrections to the tree level charged Higgs boson mass are found to be sizeable for tan beta < 1 and tan beta greater-than-or-equal-to 10.
