The temperature and field dependence of the magnetization of a Fe2N alloy has been measured and compared with the calculation of the Moriya-Kawabata theory and Stoner-Edwards-Wohlfarth model. It is shown that Fe2N is a very weak itinerant ferromagnet, and the Moriya-Kawabata theory and the electron gas approximation give a good description. Spin fluctuations and their interaction play a significant role in determining the thermomagnetic properties of the Fe2N alloy.
