摘要
A liquid-liquid extraction equilibrium model for binary and multicomponent systems has been developed and can be represented by SMN = K1′(a0)M(a0)H, where SM,N is the separation factor between components M and N, respectively. This model was based on the assumption that the activity coefficient varies only slightly with its concentration. The experimental results show that the data fit the binary model very well and to a lesser degree the ternary model. The variance between the experimental data and the ternary model is attributed to the omission of the interaction terms between species. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
