摘要
:
Flow of bile in the biliary tree is considered. On the grounds of experiments performed on dogs, it is found that the rate of flow (Q) of bile in a duct of the extrahepatic biliary tree is related to the associated pressure drop (Δp) by the following power law where a and b are constants dependent on the segment considered; D is the duct diameter; L is the duct length; and μ is the bile viscosity. © 1979.
