摘要
Using Johnson's potential, a computer simulation of tensile deformation is made on a realistic model of amorphous iron with free surface. The internal atomic movements are analyzed by the changes of the mean energy per atom, the mean atomic displacement between given strains, and the projection of all the displacement vectors onto a given plane. A slip‐like correlated avalanche motion of atoms is observed during the plastic deformation. Copyright © 1979 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
