THE 5F-]6D ABSORPTION-SPECTRUM OF PA4+/CS2ZRCL6

摘要
The 5f1 --> 6d1 absorption spectrum of Pa-231(4+) diluted in a single crystal of Cs2ZrCl6 has been measured at 4.2 K. Three bands corresponding to the 6d(GAMMA-8g, GAMMA-7g, and GAMMA-8g') levels are assigned. Extensive vibronic structure has been observed for the lowest 5f --> 6d transition and this structure is compared to that recently reported for the 6d1 --> 5f1 emission spectra in the same system.
