EXACT-SOLUTIONS OF EINSTEIN GRAVITY COUPLED TO A SCALAR FIELD WITH ARBITRARY POTENTIAL

摘要
We present a method to generate exact static solutions of the coupled Einstein-scalar-field equations with an arbitrary potential in D space-time dimensions. The spherically symmetric solutions corresponding to an exponential and a quadratic potential are explicitly derived and discussed. Some of these solutions indicate a way to circumvent the "no-hair" theorems.
