摘要：

An application of Plackett-Burman factorial design in one industrial quality assurance programme is described. Possible parameters affecting the final results were analysed in order to select those of significance, using as an example the flash point test for kerosene. The results show that the Abel manual method can be replaced by a programmed automatic one. Plackett-Burman designs appear to be an important tool to optimize laboratory resources (better results and productivity).
