摘要
A novel variant of the impedance technique is developed to study contact problems. For this purpose the contact under investigation is coated with a dielectric layer through which the impedance is measured. With decreasing frequency more and more of the conducting material in contact with the electrode is detected. In this way not only a significant characterisation of the interface but also a spatial resolution is achieved. The main emphasis of this paper is on the experimental part and the special advantages of this mode of measurement. Nonetheless, the theoretical background is concisely presented. The method is applied to the Ag/AgCl interface. Results are discussed in the light of ionic space charges.
