WAYS OF USING ENZYMES FOR ACCELERATION OF ELECTROCHEMICAL REACTIONS

摘要
The ways of coupling electrochemical and enzymatic reactions ensuring the possibility of using enzymes for acceleration of electrochemical reactions are considered. The experimental data on the activation of hydrogen and oxygen reactions are summarized. It is shown that in the presence of adsorbed tyrosinase and laccase the molecular oxygen electroreduction can be activated by direct electron exchange between the electrode and the enzyme active site. © 1979.
