SHORT-PULSE RAPID-SCAN STRIPPING VOLTAMMETRY AT A THIN MERCURY FILM CARBON-FIBER ELECTRODE

摘要
The technique of short-pulse rapid-scan stripping voltammetry (SPRSSV) has been developed by decreasing the pulse width and pulse period to values well below those normally used in pulse voltammetry. The technique employs an accelerated differential pulse waveform consisting of short pulses rapidly applied to the system at a mercury film carbon fiber electrode. Well-resolved peaks were obtained for sub-microgram-per-liter levels of lead and cadmium utilizing a scan rate of 100 mV/s and a deposition time of 60 s.
