摘要
Gave 40 Vantress broiler chicks 4 1-hr imprinting sessions starting at 16 hr. after hatching. At 5 days of age each S was given 10 blue-yellow discrimination trials in a modified Yeskes Alley. Ss were divided into 4 subgroups of 10 each, with 2 subgroups having the positive stimulus the same color as the original imprinting models, and 2 subgroups having the negative stimulus the same color as the original imprinting object. Comparisons between control and experimental groups showed a positive effect on discrimination performance in those groups where the positive stimulus was identical in color to the imprinting model.
