摘要
The ‘protein profile’ was determined by electrophoresis on paper, in 20 cases of spinocerebellar degeneration (Friedreich’s and Pierre Marie’s ataxias and Roussy-Levy’s syndrome). A significant decrease of both in serum and CSF albumins was noted as well as a significant increase of CSF β-globulins. These changes seem to be the consequence of some secondary processes and not primary biochemical defects brought about by the disease. No correlation could be established between these changes, the clinical form, the functional impairment or the course of disease. © 1969 S. Karger AG, Basel.
