ABSORPTION PROFILE OF THE 7TH HARMONIC OF THE C-H STRETCH IN LIQUID BENZENE

摘要：

We report the measurement of the absorption profile of the seventh harmonic of the C-H stretch in liquid benzene by a pulsed dye laser opto-acoustic technique. The absorption peaks at 18808 cm-1 (5316 A), with a peak absorption coefficient being 4.5 × 10-4] cm. The systematic trends of the series of harmonic absorption lineshapes in benzene, in the liquid, and in the vapor phase, are discussed. © 1979.
